Disclaimer for Scottjacob Garage Doors

Last updated: October 2026

This disclaimer covers how you use scottjacob.property. It is a general template, not legal advice.

We Refer, We Do Not Repair

Scottjacob Garage Doors offers referrals and marketing. We connect homeowners with independent garage door repair and installation providers. We do not repair, install or sell garage doors, springs, openers or parts. An independent provider does any work on your door, not Scottjacob Garage Doors.

A Referral Is Not an Endorsement

Connecting you with a provider does not mean we endorse it. We make no promise about the quality, timing, price or result of a provider's work. We also cannot promise that a provider can come to your area at a certain time. Each provider answers for its own licenses, insurance and conduct.

Just General Information

The content here is general information. It is not legal, financial or safety advice. Every door, opener and home is different, so talk with a qualified technician about your own case.

About Prices

Prices on this site are typical U.S. ranges, not quotes. The real cost depends on your door, the parts it needs, where you live and which provider you use. A provider gives a firm price after looking at the door. Ask for a written quote before you approve work.

About Warranties

Any mention of warranties here is general. A warranty comes from the manufacturer or the provider, never from Scottjacob Garage Doors. Ask the provider what is covered, and get it in writing.

Stay Safe

Garage doors are heavy. Springs and cables are under strong tension. Do not try to work on springs or cables yourself, and keep people and pets away from a damaged door. If a situation threatens life or safety, contact local emergency services first.

How Scottjacob Garage Doors Earns Money

Providers or marketing partners may pay Scottjacob Garage Doors when we connect them with homeowners. The Referral Marketing Disclosure page explains more.

How Accurate This Is

We try to keep the information here current and correct. We do not warrant that it is complete or that it contains no errors.
